Chris will discuss the Internet of Things and its cyber security risks.   In this survey, he will discuss the nature of the Internet of things, its extent in today’s world including “big data” and the threats it poses, including a sampling of the risks to transportation.  Chris will demonstrate how easily IOT devices can be identified on the Internet using commonly available tools.

The venue is on the 16th floor of Omni Hotel, Ausitn downtown. Metered parking is available on the block surrounding the Omni Hotel/Austin Centre building.
