TEALS, in conjunction with Capital Factory and the Austin Chamber of Commerce, will be hosting an informational happy hour on May 29th from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm at Capital Factory. The session will include refreshments and an overview of the volunteer opportunities TEALS has to offer in Austin and Central Texas for people wishing to get involved in computer science education!

TEALS helps high schools nationwide build and grow sustainable computer science programs by pairing high school teachers with volunteers from the tech industry. TEALS volunteers work with their partner teaching in the classroom to support the delivery of rigorous computer science content and add real-world relevance to their class.
