It is shocking to think that in 2018, kids who identify as LGBTQ are still at such high risk for suicide, violence, and homelessness. LGBTQ youth are over-represented in the foster system and juvenile justice system. And they are bombarded by negative messages at every turn. We have to do more to protect LGBTQ kids.
