Denise has a passion for tech marketing and a deep love for working through the challenging first stages of a new venture.  She’s been a critical part of a company’s early successes and scaling a venture from $0 to $100M in three years.  Having taken 11 early-stage companies through rounds of successful funding, two IPOs, and three acquisition exits, Denise is unlike most marketing executives in that she is as adept at strategy as execution.  For Denise, it all started with her very first startup that created a whole new industry category and dominated it.  That startup was Blockbuster Videos who brought big screen entertainment into the neighborhoods.  For the past three years, Denise has been providing Virtual CMO/VP of Marketing services to various startup’s and currently serves as an advisor for military spouse remote working platform, MadSkills.
