Bunker Labs Austin Community and Austin Game Developers are joining forces to collaborate on a post-SXSW gaming and esports recap with networking, drinks, and appetizers.
This event is part of Bunker Brews, a monthly meetup where the Bunker Labs community, including veterans, military spouses, and civilians, comes together to network with subject matter experts, investors, thought leaders, and more in an environment focused on growth and development.

Guest Speakers
Frank Coppersmith is the CEO of Smarter Reality, a digital discovery and development company in Austin, Texas. Previously, he was President of Capson Technology, and Chief Operating Officer and Studio General Manager for GameSalad, the maker of “GameSalad Creator” – a leading tool for mobile application and video game development. Frank has served as Vice President, Finance and Administration for Challenge Online Games, a venture-backed (Sequoia Capital, Globespan Capital) startup in the web and social (Facebook) gaming space which was sold to Zynga. Frank holds a MBA in Finance and Operations Management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a law degree from Samford University and a degree in electrical engineering from The Citadel. Frank was named Austin’s “CFO of the Year” (small company category) by the Austin Business Journal in 2010.
Frank is also active in the USAF Reserves, holding the rank of Colonel, where he serves as a senior judge advocate. Frank has previously deployed to Iraq, Turkey, Germany, and Qatar.
Finn Staber is a Programmer/Designer with additional skills in Visual FX, Animation, 3D Art and World Building. He excels in developing functionality and controls for cross-platform Virtual Reality hardware & Augmented Reality technology using projected light field glasses and mobile devices. He focuses on creating advanced player controls, and building fun interactive experiences.
Finn has worked as a voice actor and musician for many games & animations, and he is an active leader in the game development community. He enjoys networking with other skilled developers, helping others and hacking the latest technologies/hardware to create awesome fun experiences. His artistic background in film and music gives him a compositional awareness toward design. He often volunteers to teach game development workshops using Unity at various Austin local schools and universities, and has helped organize developer events for the Austin Unity meetup, AR/VR Tools & Tech, VRAustin, and IGDA Austin Game Devs.
Finn has helped launch multiple successful tech startup teams, developing award-winning video games, digital marketing/sales apps and government contracted cyber-security measures. He has helped many studios ramp up, and has consulted for some of the leading technology developers in the world. Working with the awesome team at Unity Technologies has helped him form great relationships with many other developers and educators. His experience in the US Army and knowledge of agile teamwork allows him to communicate well with other developers, and work hard to complete difficult tasks.
