THE CENTER OF GRAVITY FOR ENTREPRENEURS IN TEXAS
Building Alignment Workshop
In this workshop, we’ll teach you how to build alignment so that you can have the impact and influence you want, regardless of your role. You’ll leave with tools and frameworks that you can use immediately to build alignment with individuals and teams.
In this highly experiential workshop, we’ll cover:
– Explicitly designing your relationships around what’s important — so that you can accelerate the building of trust, rather than wait for years for it to accumulate.
– Explicitly sharing mutual expectations, so that you can effectively manage up or down.
– How to communicate effectively to reduce friction and miscommunication on the team.
– How to build alignment within your team and cross-functionally to get things done quickly.
– When to ask open-ended questions and when to dive in with solutions.
– How to use powerful questions to discover what’s important to stakeholders and use the learnings to build alignment.
– How to turn conversations that feel like tiring negotiations into high-energy, creative ones.
– How to hone in on what’s important to someone else when making decisions — a critical skill for interviewing and closing candidates.
– Throughout the workshop, you will learn new tools and frameworks, watch live demos, practice the skills, debrief lessons as a group, as well as discuss how to apply these skills immediately in different work contexts.
