THE CENTER OF GRAVITY FOR ENTREPRENEURS IN TEXAS

An event every month that begins at 6:30pm on day Fourth of the month, repeating until January 1, 2026
The Austin Formal Methods User Group is a community for those passionate about the wide-ranging field of formal methods. Our interests span interactive theorem provers, SAT/SMT solvers, type theory, temporal logic, model checking, correct-by-construction, AI robustness, and more. We aim to bring together engineers, researchers, students, and professors from academia and industry—whether or not they currently use formal methods in their work.
Our goal is to deepen understanding, explore new ideas, collaborate on new projects, and discuss notable existing projects (like seL4, CompCert, Idris, Quickcheck, Dafny, and more). The group fosters meaningful conversations and networking, providing opportunities to connect with like-minded peers and experts in the field. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or just starting to explore formal methods (assuming at least some computer science, mathematics, or software engineering background), we welcome you to join us for presentations, discussions, and growth.
Kubernetes Austin is the official Kubernetes meetup for Austin, Texas. We host talks from anyone doing cool things with Kubernetes, including companies using K8S in production or vendors pushing the boundaries of what K8S can do. Presentations are demo-focused and not sales pitches. Our meetups will always be FREE to attend!
We aim to host a regular event to discuss the latest trends, strategies, and innovations in Sales Technology and techniques across various industries.
In each session, expert speakers share insights and actionable tips on growing sales in different fields. Moderated by founders of Big Sister AI – Valentyn or Lucy Yaromenko – the event will also include discussions to identify the most effective strategies for sales growth.
Our target audience includes sales leaders: RevOps, Sales Ops, VPs of Sales, Heads of Sales, and entrepreneurs.
Policy Hacking with Farm&City is a monthly gathering designed to engage and support citizen advocacy in local communities. Farm&City is re-starting these networking opportunities and facilitating dialogue that will shift the paradigm of growth and development toward greater sustainability and equity in Texas.
The absolute hardest thing for any start-up is winning its first million dollars in revenue. This may be more challenging if you’re an introvert, an engineer who loves getting into the nitty gritty details of each feature, or someone who is new to sales in general. In this class, you will learn how to sell anything. In fact, there are at least 3 interactive exercises as we all improve with “batting practice.” We will also dive into the discovery phase – which is one of the most important steps, yet sadly overlooked and handed off to the least qualified person in any business. We’ll also play around with tools such as Clay and show how you go from ICP to building a specific list to enriching the data to finding actual contacts. And if there’s time, we’ll jump into how to pitch a CEO about your company. Please arrive early as the agenda is packed and I plan to start on time.
