While all entrepreneurs (and aspiring entrepreneurs) are welcome to join, this group will focus on helping early-stage startup founders. Founder life isn’t easy. In fact, it’s often a rollercoaster. While friends and family can be wonderful supporters, sometimes it’s nice to lean on others who are going through similar situations. The Founder’s Circle is an opportunity for just that. Connect with fellow Founders, share the highs / lows and walk away with a new supportive network. The Founders Circle is a casual meet up – you’ll have the chance to share (if you like), hear others similar experiences and discuss relevant strategies (if applicable). Policy Hacking with Farm&City is a monthly gathering designed to engage and support citizen advocacy in local communities. Farm&City is re-starting these networking opportunities and facilitating dialogue that will shift the paradigm of growth and development toward greater sustainability and equity in Texas.
Dive head-first into Austin’s startup world and get paired up by interests for quality conversations! Meet quality creative & tech professionals based on complimentary interests. We’ll pair you with people who match what you’re looking for, while sipping tasty Tequila 512 margaritas. Then stick around for pitches from the audience, a small sample of our flagship show, Your Startup Sucks. We’ll get to the bottom of that person’s story, and find out what’s going on. This unique gathering brings together founders, leaders, and curious people in Austin for an evening of Conscious Connection. This isn’t a traditional “networking” event. A² is all about the authenticity that comes from depth. We’re inviting both the market-focused leader AND the spiritual seeker within you to the table. Our events are part-networking, part-spiritual practice, combined into something WAY deeper.
Our events are different than traditional networking, and include meditation, facilitated connection, and super vulnerable shares. Thus, they’re best suited for more private spaces that allow for the safety required for vulnerability and depth.
Some of the topics we’ve talked about are: handling challenging co-founder dynamics, navigating the deeper patterns that underlie micro-management, processing rejection, and more generally building authentic community as an entrepreneur.
