Instaclustr is hosting a one-day in-person workshop in Austin, Texas on April 20, 2023, which gives attendees a high-level overview of Apache Cassandra. This presentation is geared towards database administrators, developers and IT leaders who have recently adopted or are considering adopting Apache Cassandra. Lunch will be provided!

In this workshop, we will take a close look at the key fundamentals of this NoSQL database by exploring how a Cassandra cluster works, how data is stored and managed, how it compares to relational databases, examples of the Cassandra query language (CQL), the data modeling process, and its most popular use cases.

Toward the end of the workshop, we will be giving a demonstration of the scalability and high availability of Cassandra.
