WHAT IS THE R&D BREAKTHROUGH SUMMIT?
The only conference of its kind, the R&D Breakthrough Summit brings together research scientists and entrepreneurs to bridge the gap between academia and business with experiential learning opportunities, inspiring speakers, and intentional community building. Through the collision of research and capital – where great science meets great business – our goal is to accelerate more breakthroughs scientific research translating to tangible products and services that solve real-world challenges.

The 2019 Summit is taking place June 10-11th, 2019, at the Hyatt Regency Austin and Capital Factory in Austin, Texas.

WHY ATTEND?
While some research projects may take place in a vacuum, technology commercialization – or bringing technology from the laboratory to the marketplace – cannot. To solve big challenges and apply research to the real world, both the scientific and business community need to collaborate together to bring about innovation.
