The Talkabot team is committed to making Austin a hub for bots and conversational software. This month’s presenters:

Tom is the CEO of Message.io, a YCombinator-backed and Austin-based bot company. Tom will present an overview of the enterprise bot ecosystem and his company’s vision for a unified messaging ecosystem where all bots work on all platforms. Tom will also share his thoughts on how Austin can become the Chatbot Capital of the World.

Ashley is a Senior Dev Evangelist for IBM Watson based in Austin, Texas and focuses on machine learning, AI, and NLP APIs. She regular contributes to blogs, participates in speaking engagements, and volunteers with student organizations. Ashley’s previous experience as a front-end dev and UX designer continue to influence her decision-making today.
