THE CENTER OF GRAVITY FOR ENTREPRENEURS IN TEXAS
Workshop: Renaissance of Renaissance Thinking – Austin
“Entrepreneurs are The Artists of The Business World” is one of Nir Hindi’s favorite quotations. In his various talks and workshops, he invites us to return to Renaissance thinking – combining art with engineering, science, and technology.
In this double session, you will have the opportunity not only to learn about the connection between art and business but also to practice one of the skills required in innovation.
In the first part, “A Renaissance of Renaissance Thinking – Why Business Needs The Arts,” Nir advocates the connection between business success and renaissance thinking. By revealing trends and upcoming changes in the world, he highlights the importance of being creative and adopting, what he calls, The Artistic Mindset. Using examples of leaders in the business world that have already capitalized on art and creativity, he raises questions that help to initiate a change in paradigm and break the ice between business professionals and the creative world.
In the second part, we will practice observation, the fundamental skill required in innovation. We look but we don’t see and that is a difference, he claims. In this workshop, we will practice observation, see the implementation in business and get some tips how to practice by ourselves.
A “mind-blowing journey to the importance of art in business”, “game changer session” and “unconventional and one of the most unique talks I have ever attended” to name a few of the comments from his listeners.
