Proteus Space is a satellite innovator & manufacturer - building for scale in the new space economy. Proteus rapidly designs and builds ESPA & ESPA Grande class satellites and buses at scale. With payloads in orbit and robots on Mars, our expertise and capabilities span “hard problem” satellite designs to satellite manufacture to payload integration for a launch-ready satellite. Our goal is to take satellite design to launch-ready timelines from 3 years to 3 months. To achieve this 12x time reduction, Proteus is building software to enable user-friendly input of mission requirements, then automating system design and CAD generation, and ultimately outputting an optimized design based on satellite-specific DFMA/DfAM rules. We also utilize NASA/JPL-proven additive satellite manufacturing techniques to gain advantages over traditional manufacturing methods.
