Jeff Rix has over 20 years experience creating and managing e-commerce companies. He is currently co-founder and COO of Bitcore, a software development company, and also the managing partner of two angel funds Yoshida Rix and Rix Capital.

Jeff recently had two e-commerce exits from DVD Empire and Blackhole Boards where he spent the past 16 years as CEO. He built his first e-commerce website in 1995 and started DVD Empire two years later. He has extensive knowledge in all areas related to running e-commerce operations. His other areas of expertise are software development, UX design, business development and marketing.

He holds two degrees, one in Computer Science from Oregon State University and the other in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University. He spends his free time improving his programming skills and helping out the local tech community.
