About Marcus Weller
Dr. Marcus Weller’s work centers around brain-inspired AI architectures and the development of high fidelity human traits for AI systems. In 2012, Marcus founded one of the first consumer Augmented Reality companies in Silicon Valley. He has been invited to speak about his work at Stanford, LeWeb, SXSW, CES, MWC, and tech events in more than 30 cities and 11 countries. Over the last 15 years, he has been a Founder, Executive, Advisor, and served as Board Member to startups spanning AI, AR, FinTech, and Biotechnology. Marcus has also worked to advance Science Diplomacy as a German Chancellor Fellow for the Humboldt Foundation, and volunteers his time to mentor promising entrepreneurs at Universities around the world. Marcus holds a PhD in Industrial Psychology with a subfocus in Data Science from Wayne State University.
