Rich Robinson

Rich Robinson, Operating Partner (Technology), joined the company in 2023 and works closely with Platform’s portfolio companies to help them digitally transform their products, services, and operations with smart technology solutions. Currently, Rich serves on the Board of Directors of July Business Services, and works directly with Exact Payments, Principle Health Systems and South Coast Terminals. Rich joined Platform after 27 years of building and leading technology teams across various industries and geographies. As an experienced technology executive, Rich has a passion for integrating technology solutions into the broader business strategy. Rich most recently served as the CIO/CTO of Standard Industries, (“Standard”), a privately held business generating approximately $10 billion of revenue with 20,000 employees in over 80 countries. Prior to Standard, Rich worked in various senior technology roles at SunPower and Bazaarvoice. He started his career as a Communications Officer in the U.S. Army. Outside of work, Rich and his wife (Valerie) are active fund raisers in support of finding a cure for Muscular Dystrophy. In addition, Rich enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling and spending time with his wife and their three children.
